ServiceMap

Optional live service monitoring canvas for GLPI

Turn the asset inventory into a service-aware CMDB you can see, pan and zoom — with incidents overlaid on the map.

ServiceMap is an optional Echo-9 plugin. It requires EchoDesk GLPI Advanced and cannot be taken as a shared service on its own.

What is ServiceMap?

ServiceMap is a topology and service canvas for GLPI. It reads native network discovery and port connection data and draws an interactive blueprint of how services and configuration items depend on each other.

It is not a bandwidth weathermap — that stays with Zabbix. ServiceMap is the live operational picture of your services: what connects to what, what is in impact analysis, and which CIs currently have high-severity tickets.

Key Capabilities

Global canvas

Full-screen vector map with pan, zoom and fit-to-screen, from the main GLPI navigation

Automated discovery mapping

Builds the picture from GLPI network port connections — no manual drawing of every link

Impact engine sync

Bi-directional sync with GLPI Impact Analysis so visual changes stay true to the CMDB

Dependency paths

Colour-coded vectors for critical outages, non-disruptive dependencies and HA clusters

Live ticket overlay

High and very high incidents light up the affected CIs so the map reflects current service health

Business service filters

Isolate a stack, search by IP or asset tag, and respect multi-entity security boundaries
